SWEET SPLITS (watch)

These three videos (Victory Bakery, La Flor Bakery and Yi Mei Bakery)
were made in collaboration with Mierle Laderman Ukeles, as part of
the ODD LOTS: REVISITING GORDON MATTA-CLARK’S FAKE ESTATES exhibition.
They were shown as part of Ukeles’ The Queens Cookies/Sweet Splits Project
at White Columns, New York. The videos documented Ukeles, working with
three different bakeries from three Queens neighborhoods to make pastries in
the shape of Gordon Matta Clark’s Odd Lots.

is part of  Cynthia Madansky’s The PSA Project, a series of short films which
protest the American occupation of Iraq and the act of war.
